The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area more info on a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to empower the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
